Rosebery Ward Day Report:

This was the typical report book staff had to fill in each day concerning the status and whereabouts of each patient on the wards. Many were allowed to be on leave. Rosebery Ward was for female patients and contained a mixture of those sectioned under the Mental Health Act, the elderly and others there "informally"... One of the things I've noted in here is that there was a huge preference for ECT. The Drs liked the treatment so much that some would refuse to sign consent forms. Patients could have up to 4 sessions a week!

People who went for this treatment came back with what was termed as "normal recovery". It doesn't really show the treatment working with relatively few people discharged. Too much possibly?
