Abandonded Britain and Industrial Britain:
These two sites capture the impressive amount of abandoned places and the UK's industrial infrastructure that once existed.

Derelict London:
For those that think Englands Capital is lovely. Come and view the otherside of the fence - you won't believe the amount of dereliction!

EnglishRussia:
Lots and lots of crazy abandoned and derelict ex-soviet stuff.

Sub-Brit:
A site dedicated to all things underground and man-made.

Whatever's Left:
Has a large collection of pictures and reports on all sorts of abandoned and derelict sites in the UK.

Books

London Orbital by Iain Sinclair:
A book about his journey around the M25. Not to be put off by the subject matter, there are a few sites of interest he comes across even though now, most have gone.

Madness In Its Place by Diana Gittins:
If in a recession you're made of money, then this may be a really interesting read. It's about what life was like at Severall's Hospital from the perspective of both ex-employees and the patients.

Derelict London by Paul Tilling:
A book of hidden gems around London. Made by the same Paul who makes the derelict london website. Many sites have gone but there are a few still left standing if you know where to look.

Hazards

Asbestos:
A site providing health and safety advice and guidance for those who may be exposed to asbestos and advice on what to do to protect yourself and others.

Chemicals & Poisons:
If you see something in an old hospital/testing lab and want further info on it, it'll more than likely be in this list.
